Their rooftop terrace with a super Instagrammable infinity pool is all the rage these days and get this – they welcome digital nomads, so you definitely won’t get a stinky eye for being cramped up with your laptop in a dark corner. It is all sunshiny and positive vibes around here. Definitely a Hotspot for getting some work done with pool splashes in between. Plus you probably won’t find a better spot for snapping those slightly smug  #todaysoffice hashtagged pics. (Psst! Milk & Madu Café

Jl Pantai Berawa, Berawa, Canggu
Open daily 7.00am – 10.00pm

Everyone’s favourite café / hang out, known for their epic brekkies way out of the “town limits” of the Gu! It has a line of the comfy benches facing the spacious Joglo-style structure.

There is good number of power outlets, but we cannot 100% guarantee you’ll be able to snatch a good spot for a long working session. The café gets insanely busy (with good reason!) especially at brunch and lunch hours, plus the Wi-Fi here can be sometimes very moody with so much patronage tapping in. Insiders tip: there is however, a quick lull period from till after lunch through to late afternoon, when the café quiets down. You can order your afternoon pick me up (Madu serves the king of the cup from Revolver Espresso!) and their famous big portion lunches and power up for the afternoon work sesh.

Raw food lunch menu and epic brekkies served alongside respectably fast Wi-Fi, the café is large and spacious, plus they’ve got an AC room. Its doors open early, so get in for a wow factor Raw cashew pancakes with salted caramel sauce and absorb the serenity of the adjacent emerald rice paddies, while getting some serious working session done. There is a plethora of power points and comfy seating throughout the café. Its a Canggu expat favourite, with the same crew tending to tap away beside you each day.

Ruko Café

Jl. Pantai Berawa 99, Berawa, Canggu
Open daily 7.30am – 4.00pm

A small, unpretentious café serving up delicious eats and their own authentic black gold blend in Berawa, Ruko also has a dedicated section fitted out with power outlets and comfy upholstered bench seats. The Café occupies a tiny air-conditioned space and the morning to lunch crowds are ferocious! Get in for late brunch or late lunch to avoid the rush hours and get some work done while noshing on Ruko’s creative offerings. We LOVE!

Sprout Café

Jl.Raya Semat 18A, Berawa, Canggu
Open daily 7.00am – 5.00pm

Sprout is a great place for best value brekkies in Canggu (the Green Pesto omelet is a life changing experience) plus it is fully air-conned. There are however, no power outlets, so bring your laptop fully charged. Avoid morning and lunch rush hours, as the café is adjacent to a preschool and gets popular with coffee loving mamas and their (sometimes very vocal) kiddies. Mid-morning and early lunch is best, with bubbly staff on hand to greet you by name, and serve you all your faves (that they’ve totes memorised). It’s your home-office, away from home, away from home. 😉

Quince Cafe

Jl. Pantai Berawa, Berawa, Canggu
Open Tuesday – Sunday 8.00am – 4.00pm, Closed Mondays.

Hidden gem of Canggu food scene, Quince serves sophisticated meals, tasting even better than they look. They’ve got an extremely charming front garden patio and a small indoor section with fans. Quince makes the kind of home style food you could never make at home even if you tried. The café has a tasteful inspiring décor (hello awesome adjacent home décor store), muted uplifting music softly playing in the background and an in house made ice cream + pastries to reward yourself with after your work is done for the day. No AC and a huge turnover of the hungry loyal brekkie & lunch crowds doesn’t make it a super ideal spot for long working sessions, but it is still a great place for late lunch when things quiet down + a work “quickie”.

Note: WIFI access only granted with purchase of food & beverage – only fair after all 😉

Machinery Cafe

Jl.Batu Bolong 35, Batu Bolong, Canggu
Open daily 8.30am – 6.00pm

A small café offering simple eats more on the naughty side (non-vegans of the Gu rejoice) and strong coffee, also serves a solid fast Wi-Fi and welcomes digital nomads in their fully air-conned establishment. They serve good value all day brekkie here and since Canggu is world capital of smoothie bowls, you’ll of course find these delicious babies on the menu as well. If you frequent the Batu Bolong side of the shortcut, jot this one on your To-Do list.

Whether its a quiet corner you’re after, or a buzzing hard-work HQ – we hope this hack-list of Co-working in Canggu options has got you inspired for some serious paradise productivity.
