What do you get when you mix traditional Indonesian flavour, with a new age Australian flair? Missibu Bali – Canggu’s freshest foodie hangout. MissIbu takes time honoured traditional dishes, and elevates them to a modern epicurean standard.
Think Indo classics like a Nasi or Mie Goreng, cooked sans MSG or palm oil, and served with sticky grilled pineapple, chicken satay and free range egg. Or the typical Indo Pisang Goreng (fried banana), cooked in healthy coconut oils, dusted with fresh local spices and served with salted caramel, coconut ice cream & candy nuts. This Melbourne-Style eatery also cooks up some mean café fare, fusing your daily faves with locally sourced island flavours. Think caramelised banana pancake stack with coconut sorbet and Bedugul organic raspberry, or a local toastie with smoked ham, local mozzarella, house sambal and quail egg. It’s a seriously delicious mix-up of East meets West, and we are seriously LOVING IT!
Taking position front & centre of the brand spanking new Tamora Gallery complex on Jl Pantai Berawa, MissIbu is just a taste tester of what this dope new complex has in store for us.
Open from early AM until late in the evening, MissIbu is a spot where you can come and get fired up on their single origin beans, tuck into a power-fueling feed, and open your laptop on their co-work welcoming communal table. Still tapping away as the sun goes down? Get those creative juices flowing as you sip on a Balinese Negroni, a Hidden Dragon Mojito, or a coconut espresso martini. Vibing with the crew around you? Invite your peers to a punch party, with one and two litre fishbowl cocktails, or the mega XXL three litre “Kim Kardashian Booty” (if you dare!). MissIbu also pours an impressive imports list, featuring a French Rosé, a Cali Sav Blanc and a Malborough NZ Pinot Noir. Take your tastebuds on a trip around the globe with an Imported Beef Rendang, paired with a South Australian Pinot Grigio, and you can leave your passport at home.
Fancy a quick shop between sips? Sneak in and meet the new neighbours, with a strip of newly opened fashion boutiques beckoning you (and your rupiahs!).
It’s family-friendly, it’s co-worker conducive, it’s an all-day affair, and a downright genius Indo-fusion concept.. Permisi MissIbu, aku cinta kamu!
