A love of Gin, the Mediterranean and Picasso is the inspiration behind new kid on the Berawa block, Synkonah. A hip new nightspot decorated with collaged wall murals, communal bench seating and a strip-lit bar boasting every Gin under the Bali sun.. jot this down as a must-visit for your next Canggu vacay.
Whether you’re cruising in off the beach with sandy feet, or looking to get a little extra for date night, Synkonah and it’s welcoming vibes have a spot for you to get comfy.
Sunset tapas (and half price cocktails !!!) are best enjoyed from the street front patio, perfect for a little people watching. Think tuna carpaccio, creamy burrata and the best damn charcuterie we’ve had in the Gu. Wash it all down with an Aperol Spritz, a Tangerine Tom Collins, or our fave; the Brockmans with blackberry & mint. Cheers!
Once the first few rounds of your gin-perience have you buzzing, it’s time to dig in to the mains. A Mediterranean menu designed to share; order plates of Porchetta-rolled pork belly, braised lamb shoulder, crispy duck breast, chargrilled sirloin and ALLLL the sides (special mention to the caramel roasted carrots – you can thank us later!). While the menu admittedly is a little meatier than some newage Gu eateries, the vegetable tagine with root vegetables will satisfy even the fuusiest of veggo diners.
Now, don’t leave until you’ve become acquainted with the dessert menu. If you haven’t bitten into the Chocolate & blackberry semifreddo or the vanilla bean brulee (O.M.GU!).. you haven’t really Synkonah’ed. Trust us on this.
Interiors on point, a gin list that makes any other in Canggu pale in comparison, and fresh AF Mediterranean flavours? It’s a YASSS from us.
