You know those days, when your head says gym, but your heart says tacos? Always follow your heart. I mean, don’t get me wrong. Us Gu girls are all about fitness.. but by that I mean fitin’is taco in our mouths.. No regrets! All jokes aside, if you’re on that taco grind, the Mexican at Taco Casa Bali is no laughing matter. Seriously good Mexi-fare, served with free chilli and without any unnecessary cliché’s – you won’t find any overdone Day of the Dead theming here. Nope, just fresh AF food and cheers-worthy drinks.
Taco Casa is the most renown name in Mexican food on the island, with three locations dotted in Seminyak, Ubud, and finally – Canggu. And we couldn’t be more stoked on the Gu town landing. I mean, “I hate tacos” said no Juan ever AMIRIGHT!?!
But tacos aren’t where this tasty trip across Mexico ends. The Taco Casa menu is piled with large serve nachos, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, quesadillas, and even a salad or two if you’re ACTUALLY choosing the gym over tacos. Good for you. On the reals though, it’s not ALL melted cheese and corn chip stacks (but mostly – let’s be honest). Taco Casa also have a bunch of health-conscious items, like our fave – the taco salad with baked burrito bowl. Each bite packed full of flavour, like a piñata exploding in your mouth. YUM!
Taco Casa uses the freshest of ingredients and everything is made in-house; from the flour tortillas, guacamole, pico de gallo salsa, beans, taco shells, corn chips and dressings – all made from scratch and all containing no lard, MSG or preservatives. So even if you didn’t make it to the gym, you’ll kinda still feel like you did. Kinda.
