Do you know what nasi campur is? If you’re scratching your head and wondering what these foreign words mean, better head to Warung Heboh Canggu, quickly.

Indonesia, the land where spices grow (literally) on trees, and the myriad of different exotic scents and flavours are unavoidable. Local food is flavourful, tasty and sometimes comes with a little kick. It is, in one word, delicious.

Warung Heboh Canggu is nasi campur at it’s best. Literally translating to “mixed rice,” this dish is the pick-n-mix of Bali’s finest. Basically, you get a plate of rice and pick the sides into a heaped pile of goodness. Choose from marinated chicken, an endless array of different veggies, tofu and tempeh, fish, corn fritters and eggs. A good-sized portion will generally cost around 30k and will leave your tongue tingling for more. Don’t forget to try a bit of the sambal, the chili paste which is the crown jewel of Indonesian cuisine.

You’re welcome. Cheap local food, right at your finger tips!
